Assessments
Adult Autism & ADHD
Lucent Psychology offers neuroaffirming and accessible diagnostic assessments for adults seeking a clearer understanding of their neurotype, with a focus on Autism and ADHD.
We have a particular interest in high-masking and internalised presentations that are often overlooked, misunderstood, or mislabelled. Our assessments aim to support insight, validation, and self-understanding, while also identifying strengths and support needs.
Assessments are available for adults aged 18+ across Australia via secure telehealth.
Why Seek an Assessment?
Many adults pursue assessment to better understand themselves.
An assessment can support:
-
Greater insight and self-understanding
-
Validation of lifelong experiences
-
Increased self-compassion
-
Identification of strengths as well as barriers
-
More targeted mental health and wellbeing support
-
Access to reasonable adjustments at work or study
-
Connection with neuroaffirming communities and neurokin
Our approach recognises that Autism, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence are differences, not deficits, and that each person’s experience is unique.
