Senior Clinical Psychologist

CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE

I work with adults facing a range of long-term emotional and psychological challenges, including complex trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, low self-esteem, and self-harm. Many of my clients have experienced distress that has shaped their sense of self and relationships, leaving them feeling uncertain about how to move forward.

I have a particular interest in supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed by their emotions or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to help people gain insight into their experiences, strengthen their emotional resilience, and build their confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.

My Approach

My therapeutic style is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I believe therapy should provide a space where people feel safe to explore their experiences and challenges without judgment. I approach my work with warmth, attunement, and a commitment to helping clients develop greater clarity and self-compassion.

I am particularly drawn to Schema Therapy, as it offers a powerful way to uncover deep-rooted beliefs and behaviours that stem from early life experiences. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to offer a well-rounded, evidence-based approach that adapts to each client’s needs. I aim to equip people with the skills and insights needed to navigate emotions, relationships, and life’s challenges in a way that feels more constructive and fulfilling.

My Background & Training

I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in the mental health field. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Wollongong.

I am a Standard Certified Individual Schema Therapist, accredited by the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST). I am also registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and approved as a Board-Approved Supervisor, providing guidance and support to psychologists in their ongoing professional development.

Throughout my career, I have worked across various clinical settings, supporting people with complex emotional and psychological concerns. My approach is rooted in a deep commitment to professional growth and ensuring that each client receives high-quality, evidence-based care suited to their individual journey.
